  • Dry Skin and Wrinkles – Looking For Real Solutions
  • If you are worried about dry skin and wrinkles, you may well have despaired of finding a product which does not irritate your skin in some way or cause some other health problem. I am not exaggerating! Just visit the skincare forums to find lots of frustrated consumers.

Reducing sun exposure is great way to avoid dry skin and wrinkles. I know of countless cases where careful exposure has paid off handsomely. We actually need the sun and we should get half an hour of each and every day, if possible.

drys skin and wrinklesThe reason is that it can help us generate Vitamin D, which is vital for many bodily functions. When we are in the sun for half an hour, we should avoid putting on any sunscreen at all. It is only half an hour and is not during the peak time when the sun is highest in the sky.

But did you know that instead of putting on a sunscreen, we could use some natural ingredients which perform a similar function?  I am thinking here of avoiding harmful ingredients such as oxybenzone which is an allergen, causes cell damage and is also a human endocrine disruptor. According to the CDC, 97% of Americans are affected by this chemical because it is widely used in sunscreens.

The Mount Sinai School of Medicine found that this chemical could be responsible for low birth weight in baby girls where their mothers have used this chemical in various personal care products.

But let’s get back to dry skin and wrinkles. Whether we like it or not the aging process will largely determine how much of a problem this is likely to be. But our lifestyle, diet and exercise will also influence the way we age. But what we really need are skin friendly ingredients and to avoid those nasty synthetic chemicals which can actually exacerbate the problem.

Let me tell you about a few of these. As for dry skin, we have to make sure that the ingredients are as close as possible in molecular structure to our own sebum. There are even ingredients which can actually normalize the amount of sebum and this is great for those with either dry skin or oily skin. The best ones that I have found are shea butter, jojoba oil and grapeseed oil.

As regards the problems of wrinkles, we need to get our hands on cutting edge ingredients so that skin cell renewal is accelerated and also HA levels are maintained., If we can also get collagen going again without absorbing nasty chemicals, then we are really in business!

Actually, I have found that two ingredients will really help to solve the collagen and HA problem, These are called Xtend TK which is a sort of functional keratin which can really get the collagen going again. The second one is Nano Lipobelll HEQ10 which is a nano form emulsion of the super enzyme CoQ10. Why not discover how you can take your skincare to a whole new level and solve the dry skin and wrinkles problems for ever?
